Birthday Parties

Party package

Children can celebrate their birthday at the Centre with friends and family. Parties are available weekdays between 3pm and 5pm. Our special birthday package costs just £9 per child and includes entrance to the Centre, hire of our party room, party food, and goody bag for each child. Adults pay group entry rate.

On arrival at the Centre, the birthday child will receive a small gift and a ticket for a return visit to the Centre at another time. Party guests will be able
to enjoy the Centre's attractions until the allocated party time, when they will be shown into the party room where their birthday tea will be waiting.

Birthday teas consist of ham or cheese sandwiches, savoury snacks, small cakes and a fruit drink. You are welcome to purchase additional drinks and snacks from the Lynx Cafe and take them with you to the Party Room if you wish.

Parents are welcome to bring a birthday cake, music and games into the Party Room. If you would like assistance with storage of these items while you are walking around the Centre, please notify the manager when you book your party.

Additional activities

As an additional treat for your party guests we can offer extras such as a children's entertainer, face painting, bouncy castle or Animal Enncounters. Animal Encounters is a great opportunity to see, hear and touch some of the Cenrtre's smaller residents

Animal Encounters costs £30 per group and is suitable for children 5 years and over. Separate quotes will be provided for children's entertainers, face painting and bouncy castles at the time of booking.

To book a birthday party, please call . Bookings are for a minimum of eight children and must be booked in advance.

Party times are only available weekdays between 3pm and 5pm. Party guests can arrive at any time but will not be allowed into the party room before 3pm. Your booking will be confirmed in writing on receipt of a deposit of £20.

Confirmed numbers of children, catering requirements and full payment must be received seven days in advance of the party. Additional adults wishing to attend the party (without food) can pay the group rate entry price, assuming a group of more than 12 guests are attending.

A 10% discount off the total party price is given when booked by season ticket holders. The party room can be booked separetly without catering for a fee or £30.

The party organizer is responsible for the supervision of the children in the party room at all times.
